The tip credit is 31 percent of the state minimum wage for those in the hotel and restaurant industry other than bartenders, 11 percent of the hourly state minimum wage for bartenders, and $.35 per hour for those in other industries.
Employers cannot count tips towards the hourly minimum wage in beauty shops.
